Louis Mason acrylic on canvas

Louis Mason, a retired teacher from the Midwest , who moved to Arizona where he opened the Kindergarten Art Studio.

Mason’s unique style is a blend of the complex and primitive. His flat two- dimensional painting resembles drawings made by a child, yet they are united with an adult’s intellect which make the work quite compelling. Mason’s use of vibrant color excites the eye and the canvas is richly textured with patterns. The paintings celebrate all aspects of life that most of us take for granted. Each painting has its own story. While the final translation of the image is left for the viewer to decide, the spiritual quality of describing the human heart shines through. Louis Mason’s desire is to bring a smile to the viewer’s face.

Mason’s narrative folk art can be found in over 200 private and corporate collections. His work has been exhibited in many gallery and museum shows.
